Both explain the way one\u2019s perspective on anything will change after a certain realization.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Values change when one completes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Busy thoughts, an occupied mind.<br>It\u2019s never about indifference, the silence, or flight.<br>Radiant lights, just like imitated expressions of false euphoria.<br>It\u2019s not about differences,<br>Nor all the things you could\u2019ve done right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Flashbacks twined with one another<br>I see closeness within the crowd<br>Like a childhood plush bear it is<br>Torn, flawed.<br>Forever to ignore a wholeness of what is,<br>would ache more than to be without.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Never the forgetfulness, but how unforgettable you make it,<br>What a difference, now to see the bright.<br>Forget the flaws, they\u2019re not what breaks it,<br>Seeing all that you\u2019ve done right.<br>Restful thoughts, and now a peaceful mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-dots\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mental Amity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It would leave me empty, far from trust for time ahead.<br>Away from no doubt and back into the tightness of a heart<br>How sights have changed from murky snow to blooms instead.<br>Realizations flowed, water streamed<br>Her presence never caused the haste of my unease<br>It was the absence of displayed reality and a character to be set free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>To see a piece of us presented by another<br>For them to proclaim the us we couldn\u2019t dare to be.<br>To mistake hate for jealousy of a she I never knew<br>Who did me no wrong, they\u2019re just there to let you see<br>Through experience of the unexpressed you grew.<br>Now it leaves me gently, emotions readjust to amity instead.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This brief collection of two poems can be interpreted differently depending on the reader.
